Dusti Harvey

Dusti Harvey is the principal of the Harvey Law Firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which primarily handles cases against nursing homes for abuse and neglect. Prior to forming her law firm in April 2005, she directed all aspects of litigation as corporate counsel for Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. for over six years. She was in charge of the Alternative Dispute Resolution program under the corporation’s bankruptcy and traveled the United States mediating over 1,500 nursing home cases. Prior to her position as corporate counsel, she was an associate for the defense firm of Keleher & McLeod. She now devotes a significant portion of her practice advocating for the well-being of elderly individuals residing in nursing homes and lectures at seminars nationwide regarding nursing home abuse and neglect.

Dusti Harvey is a board member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, a board member of the American Association for Justice Nursing Home Litigation Group, and a member of the National Citizens' Coalition for Nursing Home Reform. In addition to working hard for her clients and volunteering in community organizations, Dusti, her husband, Brit and their two boys, Chance and Carson, ages 6 and 5, love to spend time hiking, swimming, playing soccer, snow skiing and traveling together.

Jennifer Foote

Jennifer Foote specializes in nursing home abuse and neglect cases. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and History. While attending Trinity, she spent a semester in Seville, Spain, studying Spanish language and history.

Jennifer moved back to New Mexico for law school and received her law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2000. During law school, Jennifer worked as a law clerk for the City of Albuquerque City Attorney’s office. She also spent a summer studying law in Guanajuato, Mexico. She was selected to serve as the Associate Managing Editor of the U.S.-Mexico Law Journal, and also participated in two moot court competitions. At the Jessup International Moot Court competition, Jennifer was recognized as one of the top four oral advocates in the region.

Upon her graduation from law school, Jennifer began working for the State Public Defender’s Office. Before joining the Harvey Law Firm, Jennifer had already become a committed trial attorney. When she left the Public Defender after five years of practice, she had risen through the ranks to become a supervisor and was handling a complicated caseload. In her capacity as a public defender, Jennifer gained extensive, invaluable trial experience, trying over 12 jury trials and 50 bench trials.

Jennifer is admitted to practice in the State of New Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French. She is a member of the National Citizens’ Coalition for Nursing Home Reform, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice (AAJ) and the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group.

Juliet Keene

Juliet Keene grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prior to college, she spent a summer abroad in Germany. She attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Communication and Journalism. She also spent a summer working as an intern for New Mexico Senator Pete Domenici in Washington, D.C.

Juliet received her law degree from the University of New Mexico in May 2008 and immediately joined the Harvey Law Firm following admission to the New Mexico Bar Association. Throughout law school, she worked as a law clerk in other local law firms that represent clients who have suffered serious injury and wrongful death. She also interned at the District Attorney’s office, where she gained valuable trial experience. She was active in law school, selected as the president of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Student Association and secretary of the Student Bar Association.

Juliet is admitted to practice in the State of New Mexico and the United States District Court of the District of New Mexico. She is a member of the National Citizens’ Coalition for Nursing Home Reform, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice and the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group.

Heather Jaramillo

Heather Jaramillo grew up in Los Lunas, New Mexico, just south of Albuquerque. She attended the University of New Mexico and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While there, she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and worked for an environmental law firm as a legal assistant.

Heather received her law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2009. Heather was a very involved student at the UNM School of Law. She was secretary of the Women’s Law Caucus, vice-president of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Student Association, Professional Articles Editor of the Tribal Law Journal, and a member of the school’s National Competition Mock Trial team. Prior to joining the Harvey Law Firm in September of 2010, Heather worked for a small firm and practiced in the areas of criminal defense, family law, administrative law, and civil litigation, which gave her the opportunity to spend extensive time in court and administrative hearings.

Heather is admitted to practice law in New Mexico. She is on the Executive Committee of the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association, and is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association of Justice.
